Mayahuel is the Goddess of Love. She was the woman that Ehecatl, the god of wind, fell in love with. She gave her gift of love to humanity. She is represented in the middle of stem of agave (plant, of which she is the protector) with many breasts for feeding her many children, together with the typical Mesoamerican drink obtained from fermentation of agave, the octli (also called pulque).
